Andrea's Fall Sweater

This sweater will wait in Andrea's crib for her to wear for her first trip to Lost Lake Woods.  Sublime pattern. Knits 22 to 4". The yarn is incredibly soft and it has some wool content so it should be warm.
The yoke is knitted around after you knit the front, back and sleeves. I'm quite pleased with the results.  Would have like baby buttons, but found none that I was pleased with that added a contrast.

May 2010

This cardigan and shoes for little e are made with Sublime, really soft yarn that I got in Royal Oak. It was nice to work with and I used size six needles, 22 stitches to the inch.

I made it a V-neck because I notice that Rakel doesn't button the others to the neck that little e doesn't have too much of and also because she slobbers a little bit.

Classic Cardigan for little e

April

On April 5, 2010, I sent this sweater and hat to little e. I got the yarn, Little Lehigh Pebbles, 45% cotton and 55% acrylic at the Birmingham knitting shop.

A skein was $6.45, made in Pennsylvania, machine and tumble dry. It knits at 22 stitches per 4". It took three skeins but I have enough left over to make another hat if this one doesn't fit.

The sweater size is 0 to 6 months and the hat is 6 months to 9 months.
Since I had a little bit of yarn left, I knitted booties and sent them to her on April 15, 2010.

After I washed it in Woollight it was nice and soft.

Cardigan For Edie, Size 0 to 3 months

March 2010

A warm, soft cardigan for little e. The hat is size 6 to 9 and sweater is size 0 to 3. My thinking would be that she might use another cotton hat underneath or use the hat longer. I wanted the sweater to fit NOW.

The post is not setting up right--I tried to fix it--lament--and I will not take pictures on the toilet again.
