Cardigan with Headband

This little cardigan was knitted while driving through Nebraska and Colorado.  It was made of Rowan wool cotton ($10 a skein) and too four skeins.  It knitted in gauge 24 on needles six.  I enjoyed working with this yarn and it had a good feel.

Long Sleeve with a Tie Little E can Play With

Fall sweater for little e.
I made this sweater while driving through Arizona and Texas.  I was not happy with the sleeve seams, but sometimes cotton is hard to blend together.

For little edie September 2010

Fall Wear for little e
The back was knitted across with the bottom knitted down.
Gauge 24 stitches.
The first cap on the right looked too small so I made a second one.

August 7, 2010

Jorunn gave this crossstitch picture to Gretchen for wedding.
Quay and Gretchen picked out the frame and it was done at Michael's.

May 2010

This cardigan and shoes for little e are made with Sublime, really soft yarn that I got in Royal Oak. It was nice to work with and I used size six needles, 22 stitches to the inch.

I made it a V-neck because I notice that Rakel doesn't button the others to the neck that little e doesn't have too much of and also because she slobbers a little bit.

Wrap Around for little e

Wrap Around for little e. It's knitted using Rowan lenpur linen ($9.45 a skein) and it took two skeins. After I washed it, it felt like heave wet grass, but dried beautifully. I'm glad that this one is not up to the neck because little e likes to put everything around her mouth into her mouth.

Little e is 16" around the chest and this wrap around is 18. Hopefully, it's enough but not too much to use as a layer and over dresses.

Classic Cardigan for little e

April

On April 5, 2010, I sent this sweater and hat to little e. I got the yarn, Little Lehigh Pebbles, 45% cotton and 55% acrylic at the Birmingham knitting shop.

A skein was $6.45, made in Pennsylvania, machine and tumble dry. It knits at 22 stitches per 4". It took three skeins but I have enough left over to make another hat if this one doesn't fit.

The sweater size is 0 to 6 months and the hat is 6 months to 9 months.
Since I had a little bit of yarn left, I knitted booties and sent them to her on April 15, 2010.

After I washed it in Woollight it was nice and soft.

Cardigan For Edie, Size 0 to 3 months

March 2010

A warm, soft cardigan for little e. The hat is size 6 to 9 and sweater is size 0 to 3. My thinking would be that she might use another cotton hat underneath or use the hat longer. I wanted the sweater to fit NOW.

The post is not setting up right--I tried to fix it--lament--and I will not take pictures on the toilet again.

Onsies

These sideways onsies are an attempt to make my soon-to-be-granddaughters onsies more interesting.
